Sinister X5 Ignite Heated Goggle
Ratings & Reviews
They are worth the money!!!
Used my Sinister heated goggles for the first time today in the Sierra's. We had a big storm blow through with lots of wind and blowing snow the goggles never fogged once. All previous goggles I have owned have fogged especially when working to get the sled unstuck or riding hard and no issues. Couldn't be happier and it is a straight forward easy to use product.
Googles preformed exactly as advertised.
Took these for a trip in the mountains, helmet on and off constantly, sometimes throwing my goggles in my coat, or handle bar bag. No issues with fogging what so ever. Would typically bring 3 paris of googles out with me to swap throughout the day.. now I feel confident with only these.
Battery life of about 5 hours, wish it was 8!
Great set of goggles - heated is awesome!
Picked these up after 3 seasons on the regular Sinister X5's. I was dicey to ditch my polarized lenses, but willing enough to give these a try.
With the Ignites, as soon as I saw a trace of fog, I threw on the 120 sec burst mode, and poof - gone!
We rode on day with a low ceiling and icing conditions - everyone in the group had ice forming and it was a battle to keep them clear until the ceiling rose. I turned on the constant mode, no ice formed and I just had to wipe some droplets away every now and again.
Battery wise, I was getting pretty well a day (10 a.m to 5 p.m) using them as required in the burst mode. I'm unsure how long they'd last in constant mode, as I turned them back to burst after a few hours.
Never found the need to swap the lens out - didn't have a true bluebird day but rode in everything from sunny periods, white outs, fog/low ceiling and dusk/dark - no issue. I was able to pick out contour really well right up to where the visibility was dropping out.
